Homeschooling 4th May

HELLO, HELLO!!

How are you today? I hope you enjoyed your long weekend a lot.

To start this new week and this new month, we have a song chosen by Joel, it's a funny one. Especially dedicated to Julia for her birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA!

It wasn't the typical long weekend, but at least I could ride my bike for an hour!!! I enjoyed the sun and my ride a lot 🙌🙌🙌🙌

And it's time to work!!

As all of you know, we have started a new project. Our goal is to come up with an invention to make our lives easier, but before that, we need to know about the reality around us to think and creat a great invention.

COMPULSORY TASKS SCIENCE:

Today we are going to talk about matter's properties: mass and volume. Ask any question you have about this topic.
1. Watch this video:

2. Then read pages 74-75 of our natural science book.

3. Watch this video:

4. Answer this form: MASS & VOLUME form

VOLUNTARY WORK:
1. Prepare a video where you compare the mass and the volume of different objects, to show that they are not the same and things can be big and light, or small and heavy.

2. Last weekend a friend talked to me about a YouTube channel to learn how to paint different things. My children and I have fun drawing a puffing. Here you have my result:

Maybe you want to try and paint a puffin too. Here you have the link of the video: HOW TO DRAW A PUFFIN
Please, send me your pictures if you do it, don't forget to write your name close to the puffin.
