Carmen made this mural to share with you. Holidays start in 3 days!! Summer is almost here!! 👏👏👏👏

I would like to make a word cloud with you; it consists of a drawing made with words that we all think about. The theme is SUMMER, in this link SUMMER CLOUD you will access a document where you can write all the words you can think of related to summer. It doesn't take too much time, you just have to read before writing so you don't repeat words. On Thursday I will make the composition with all the words we have written.

We are almost ending our science project. Once we have our idea, the prototype, the explanation it’s time to think of the best way to make the others know about our fantastic idea.
Some of you didn't send phase 3. Please, remember to do it too.

Phase 4: Advertisement and publicity

Take your time to do this activity, you have the whole week to think and rethink how to do it to do your best. This is the final activity of our project, so work carefully trying to get the best result.

You have to prepare a video, pretending it’s a TV advert

The objective here is to convince people to by your invention. Look for the best way to do it. Think your advert, check your grammar, send me the script if you need help, practice and, when you think you have it, recorded it. Then send it to me (teacherjulia.emh@gmail.com).

VOLUNTARY WORK:
Preapre an other advertisment about your invention, but with a different format. This time it's a poster. Pretend your advert is going to be hang in the street and everyone will see it..

First Friday of June!! As I didn't know what song to chose for this special day, I thought I could record a video for you, I hope you like it 💚

COMPULSORY TASKS SCIENCE:

Let’s continue with our project!!! We are in the third phase (there is one more left!!). So read carefully to know what you have to do.

Phase 3: Present your invention (slideshow, video, model, mural)

Once you have the idea and the prototype, it’s time to explain a little more about it. I want you to prepare a slideshow, a video, a model, a mural, a writing or any other thing to explain your invention. 

Take care of your spelling and the presentation. Look for the format you prefer to do this, you are totally free; the clue is that your invention has to be explained properly. Here you have the aspects that have to appear:

- what it consists of
- what it is for
- what materials it is made of
- what kind of people will use it
- and any other aspect that you consider relevant

Good morning!!

COMPULSORY TASKS SCIENCE:

Today we have one task and a half. Here is the thing, we are going to finish the experiment of the magnetic field and, then, we have to talk a little about gravity.  Just follow the steps below.

1. Watch the second part of the video of the experiment I explained yesterday, and after watching it, go to the document "MAGNETIC FIELD_ Scientific method" in your folder Carpeta drive _ 4ºB. And complete the two last boxes of the chart (results and conclusions).

How are you this very first day of the week?? Have you realized this is the last week of May, that means holidays are very close!!

I don't have a song for you today. We have been at home for a loooong time, and yesterday I did something different that I think you could do too. Take a look!!

This is not a compulsory task, it's just a proposal I think you can have fun with. Please, if you like the idea and decide to do it, send me your pictures to share with your mates. I'm looking fordward to see them!!!

COMPULSORY TASKS SCIENCE:

Two weeks ago you detected different problems in daily life and you thought of different solutions for them. That was the PHASE 1 of our project.

Today we start the phase 2!!!

Phase 2:  Your prototype

What you have to do is to choose one of your ideas and design a prototype.

It has to be available, maybe you can’t make it because you need materials or technology to do it. But it has to be something you think it can be built.

So it’s time to choose one of your ideas, the one you like the most. Then paint or make a model of your prototype (choose the best way for you), explain briefly who it works, and send it to my email (teacherjulia.emh@gmail.com)

I choose the first problem I wrote last day. And I choose the first solution I thought of.
